Michel Mossessian has designed landmark buildings globally, including 26 buildings in Doha’s Msheireb regeneration scheme, including the main square, London projects like 5 Merchant Square in Paddington and buildings S1 and S2 in King’s Cross. He collaborates with organisations like UNESCO and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), contributing to projects such as the Fez Medina World Heritage site in Morocco. He also designed the façade of the ExxonMobil Technology Centre in Shanghai.

His professional journey, spanning more than nine years across diverse projects in Saudi Arabia, including architectural design and urban planning projects, has solidified his passion for exploring how the built environment can influence microclimate, thermal comfort, and user behavior and shape our lifestyle. Medhat is the Façade Engineering Manager at Khatib & Alami, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy firm in the Middle East. With extensive experience across Egypt, KSA, UAE, Libya, Bahrain, and Canada, he has developed a strong expertise in façade engineering and building physics. Medhat holds specialized qualifications from the University of Bath, UK (CWCT) and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School.

Currently pursuing an MSc in Façade Engineering at UWE Bristol-UK, Medhat continues to advance his knowledge in the field. He also contributes to academia as an Associate Lecturer at the German University in Cairo, where he has been teaching the Façade Engineering course since 2019.

Jochen is working since more than 20 years in the construction & glass industry. Now responsible for high performance interlayers like Trosifol PVB & Sentryglas for laminated safety glass in the EMEA region with an focus on architectural applications.

With a strong academic background in glass façades design from Politecnico di Milano, Davide has developed a keen understanding of the role of advanced materials in modern architecture. He has been involved in various aspects of building envelope projects, contributing to both technical development and successful commercial execution of high-end projects in Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.

Blending technical expertise and understanding of client needs, he is currently responsible for KSA – Saudi Arabia Business Development, working closely with Architects, Engineers, and Designers to deliver innovative façade solutions that integrate high-performance interlayers for laminated glass, highlighting Kuraray's commitment to serving the ever-changing global glass industry through innovation and leadership.

Walaa Addas is a Saudi city planner, Architect, and Designer, boasting over 15 years of expertise in Architectural and Public Realm Design, urban development, and city planning. I earned my master’s degree in architectural design from the United Kingdom, specializing in conservation and renewal, and have played a pivotal role in design research in revitalizing public spaces and restoring neglected districts and historical structures both locally and internationally. In addition to my professional practice, I serve as a jury member and lecturer in urban design and architecture at university, while also holding the position of urban design and cultural manager in Jeddah's planning sector. As an architectural visionary and cultural influencer, skilfully integrates unfolding narratives and reimagine heritage with modern perspectives, innovatively shaping what’s possible in the future architecture through meticulous designs that combines imagination, creativity, and technical expertise in every endeavor.

Jamil Adra brings 27 years of experience, from which 25 in KSA and the Gulf region, in both the design and management of development projects throughout the Middle East. He worked on several type of projects, Hospitality, VIP residences, Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, Governmental. In his role as OBMI KSA Managing Director, he applies his senior-level management expertise gained overseeing teams of up to 400 professionals to gain strategic growth for OBMI and achieve the successful completion of projects in the private and public sectors for the firm’s clients. His portfolio of notable works includes Riyadh Tower Development, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz New Airport in Jazan, Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul Tower) in King Abdullah Financial District, several Private Palaces, among others.

I am a facade division manager at Leaders Fort Contracting, with 17 years of expertise in the facade industry. I hold a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and have worked with various companies across the UAE since 2007. Currently, I specialize in ventilated facade systems, where my extensive knowledge and experience help deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Manoj Divakaran has over 35 years of outstanding track record as a business leader and entrepreneur and is currently recognised as a thought leader in the renewable energy and water industries. He has successfully incubated various innovative ventures and projects in the renewable energy and water sectors with a special focus on architectural solar integration into iconic buildings to promote a sustainable Net-Zero future. He has mentored many start-ups and has assisted innovative industries to expand into architectural solar.

Nancy Wang is a Director of the International Sales Department of the Glass Deep Processing Division of NorthGlass. She is a technical expert in glass deep processing and has been engaged in the international sales of deep-processed glass for 20 years. She has led teams to participate in the design, management, and execution of many overseas projects.

Lois Delhom is the managing director of Delhom Acoustics Middle-East. He works with designers around the world to help design spaces that sound as great as they look.

Prior to working in the Middle East, Lois worked both in Europe and spent over 10 years based in Asia, where the project ambitions required outside of the box thinking to achieve great results.

Nowadays, Lois is heading the development globally, as a strong advocate against noise pollution. His involvement spans from working with governments, developers, and architects, to help create cities that are free from noise pollution.

Qian Yucheng, Senior International Trade Manager of SHBO Group, is focusing on Middle East market at this stage. He has been engaged in the steel structure industry for 5 years and has excellent experience in international market development. He has participated in operation and management of multiple overseas projects like Hongkong Airport Terminal 2 Project, New Zealand Seascape Project etc.

Micha Pawelka, who has an academic qualification in Wholesale Management and Foreign Trade, gained over 20 years of experience in the Glass and Facade Industry in Europe. He was a Sales Director in the Schollglas Group in Germany before relocating to the Middle East in 2008 to establish an office for Interpane Glass.

At the end of 2014, he joined Priedemann as one of the Managing Director of Priedeamnn FZCO in Dubai with several years of experience alongside the Management Team of Priedemann Facade Experts. Handling business development for the Middle East projects, Micha was in charge of all sales and marketing activities, the business development plan, and the client relationship of Priedemann Middle East and India.

Recently resettled in Germany, Micha Pawelka has been the CFO/COO of Priedemann Holding GmbH since January 2021. He oversees and handles the company's day-to-day administration and operational function and the group's financial matters. In addition, however, he maintains contact with the market, especially in the Middle East, and supports the development there.

Maged (Max) Ahmed joined BG&E Façades in 2014 as a senior façade engineer. After two years in the head office in Melbourne, Australia; he re-located to the Middle East where he established the Middle East presence of BG&E Façades. Since then, Max and his team have provided façade consulting services for numerous projects in the Middle East as well as Australia.

Max is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineers Australia and holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He has 15 years of structural and façade engineering experience and has successfully delivered projects in the commercial, residential, educational and hospitality sectors.

Max’s focus is on raising awareness of façade consulting importance across Middle East region, developing facade systems, building envelope solutions based on simplicity during construction and applying past learned lessons in the industry.
